Kodah

Kodah is the DJ and producer project of Shakthi Prasad KT, originally from India and now based in Berlin.

His roots are in Indian classical music and percussion, and he spent years playing drums and touring with progressive rock and metal bands across India before moving into electronic music. That background still shapes how he plays today, moving between house, disco, Afro and Latin sounds, melodic techno, breakbeats, IDM, experimental and ambient music.

After completing a master's degree in music, focusing on sound design and electronic music, Shakthi became active in Valencia's music scene, playing at Mat32, Openair and Reb/el, before moving to Berlin. Since then, he has played at Fusion Festival, KitKatClub, Crack Bellmer, Bulbul, Prisma Bar and Mom's Limousine Service, alongside independent parties, open airs and community events around the city.

Outside DJing, he founded Mindscape Multi Arts Festival and has worked as an assistant mix engineer on projects involving Snarky Puppy, Bokanté and Michael League, as well as producing artists including Daniel de Boer.
